How You’ll Make an Impact

The Product Manager, Investly is responsible for identifying, prioritizing and supporting new and enhanced product to grow the Investly digital investing platform. This includes research and analysis to identify new or enhanced products and features that support maintaining and evolving the product roadmap for Investly aligned to commercial growth. From this, they will work with Finance for business cases, create high-level business requirements for technical teams and be  creating briefs and providing input for go-to-market strategies for brand, paid social, advertising, PR, content, email/mobile, web and other channels for Marketing and other partners. They will also use data to influence and adjust Growth strategies. They will work with Marketing, who would be responsible for journey design, content, MarTech execution and campaign design and delivery related to these priorities.

This role will support long-term strategic product growth plans and translate those plans into tactics for Software Product and Customer Experience teams that align with the business goals and product roadmap.

  • Build and own the product roadmap — setting strategic business priorities and direction — in close partnership with software product and customer experience
  • Lead the strategic roadmap that aligns product priorities, customer insights, and business outcomes across Investly
  • Request and prioritize data requests from technical colleagues and Finance, including qualitative customer experience insights as well as hard financial data
  • Ideate and track in-product A/B tests or experiments to achieve or exceed business outcomes, working alongside technical teams to support delivery
  • Recommend Digital product and Marketing optimizations based on data-driven insights
  • Conduct competitive scans and analysis to monitor and find product opportunities and challenges
  • Work with development teams to prioritize Growth-related product backlog, supporting technical teams to select the items that will deliver the most business impact alongside the Growth strategy
  • Craft compelling briefs for products/services launches and enhancements with unique value propositions
  • Support Marketing and Social teams with guidance for creating product information or educational content (blogs, case studies, videos) aligned to business goals
  • Contribute to brand definition, consistency, communications, and management across all channels
  • Partner with legal, risk and compliance to establish and maintain appropriate oversight in delivery of all marketing materials, through all channels

What We’re Looking For

  • Completed University degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years’ experience with direct to customer digital product, developing strategies, roadmaps and feature prioritization frameworks
  • Product lifecycle experience, managing a product from concept to launch
  • Defining Product requirements, creating user stories and prioritizing backlogs
  • Knowledge and experience in general marketing, including Customer Journey Analytics or equivalent
  • Experience conducting or leveraging user research, customer interviews, usability testing and or analytics

  • Strong ability to think strategically by defining a long-term product vision and roadmap
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions in uncertain or ambiguous situations
  • Go to Market experience by partnering with stakeholders in marketing and sales to launch new products or features
  • Strong communicator, with the ability to communicate product strategy to partners and stakeholders at all levels and being able to write clear requirements for technical stakeholders
  • Expert skills in stakeholder management (in particular working with technical developers, marketing and legal) & driving cross-group and cross-functional decision-making
  • Technical fluency with an understanding of system architecture, APIs and technical constraints
  • Execution and Project Management skills with the ability to manage timelines, scopes, priorities and keeping teams aligned and moving forward

  • Base Salary and Discretionary Performance Bonus: A competitive annual range of $105,000 to $129,000 based on your experience and qualifications.
  • RRSP Contribution: After 6 months of employment, we invest in your future with an RRSP contribution—no employee matching required.
