Mō te tūranga | About the Role
 

As a Product Manager you will play a key role in supporting the setup and management of the International Payments processing within Westpac. This is a unique opportunity within the market to support the team establish a new product offering, you’ll support Senior Product Managers to collaborate across the Value Chain to help design and improve processes, controls, and systems that contribute to product success, while assisting with change initiatives across the organisation.

In this role, you’ll contribute to the full product lifecycle, including planning, financial performance, pricing, risk management, governance, and supporting strategic developments once products are established. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and continuous improvement.

We’re looking for someone with a proactive mindset who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is passionate about creating innovative solutions for customers.

  • Experience in the Financial Services Industry, preferably banking

  • Exposure in payments processes including domestic and international payment regulations

  • Product management experience

  • Exposure in change management processes

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data

  • Good stakeholder engagement skills and a collaborative approach

  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to work effectively across different teams and functions
