Job Title: Product Manager Intern

Location: On-site 4 days in Hoboken NJ
Duration: 8 weeks
Department: Actimize AML Product Management

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and curious Product Management Intern to join our team for Summer 2026. This is an opportunity to work on real, high-impact product initiatives within our Anti-Money Laundering (AML) software portfolio, collaborate with Senior Product Managers, Data Scientists, Product Owners, and cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, sales, and marketing, and contribute to a product roadmap that shapes financial crime compliance for some of the world's largest financial institutions — while gaining exposure to AI-driven product strategy, regulatory technology, agile product development, and enterprise SaaS product operations.

You will be embedded directly within the AML Product Management team, working on a defined project that delivers a tangible, presentable output by the end of your internship. Depending on your strengths and interests assessed during onboarding, your project will be scoped to match your capabilities — ranging from structured research and analysis to competitive intelligence and internal tooling strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conducting market and competitive research across AML technology vendors, emerging digital asset solutions, or AI-driven product capabilities to inform strategic roadmap decisions
  • Synthesizing findings from customer interviews, internal stakeholder discussions, and publicly available regulatory guidance into structured product briefs and recommendations
  • Auditing existing internal resources — such as product collateral libraries, backlog trackers, and compliance artifact repositories — to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities
  • Designing and populating structured tracking frameworks (e.g., account health trackers, backlog prioritization matrices, or AI project registries) that improve team visibility and operational efficiency
  • Mapping product capabilities and initiatives to strategic business goals, helping the team maintain alignment between roadmap investments and measurable customer outcomes
  • Preparing clear, concise documentation including gap analyses, competitive landscape summaries, and go-to-market messaging drafts for review by senior product leadership
  • Collaborating with Product Managers, Product Owners, and cross-functional partners to support sprint planning, PI briefing preparation, and backlog grooming activities
  • Presenting a final internship project deliverable to the AML Product leadership team, demonstrating research findings, recommendations, and a proposed path forward

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with product management concepts, including roadmaps, backlogs, user stories, and agile/scrum methodologies
  • Exposure to enterprise software, SaaS platforms, or financial technology through coursework, personal projects, or prior internship experience
  • Interest in Artificial Intelligence, machine learning applications, or AI governance frameworks and how they are applied within regulated industries
  • Experience with data organization, research synthesis, or structured analysis, such as building trackers, writing reports, or conducting competitive benchmarking

What We’re Looking For

  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Interest in leveraging new technologies (including AI tools) to build better systems

Eligibility Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data organization, analysis, and presentation
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Word, and SharePoint Ability to work independently and in collaboration with other team members’
