Purpose and Distinguishing Characteristics:

The product manager, under the direction of the head of product strategy, is responsible for managing a designated line of product and engaging in product lifecycle planning including new product development, sustained product management, and end-of-life product transitions for the product line(s) assigned. The product manager supports the company growth strategy by driving new and innovative products that help achieve the company top-line revenue and bottom-line profit targets. The product manager is responsible for ensuring that data for each item within the assigned product line is documented completely, accurately, and precisely. The product manager leads the company in product expertise for their product lines.

Essential Job Functions:

· Creates and owns the product roadmap to deliver a steady flow of innovative products, energize existing products, and eliminate/improve underperforming products.

· Define the product's long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap based on market trends, competitive analysis, and company goals.

· Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other stakeholders to deliver innovation and execute product development.

· Leads the company in industry knowledge within their respective product lines.

· Conducts ongoing market and competitor analysis to identify product improvement opportunities and leads product enhancement initiatives to maintain competitive offerings.

· Actively collects and incorporates insights from internal teams and external channels, including online reviews, return data, social media, customer care, and quality control to drive continuous product enhancements and ensure offerings meet the highest standards.

· Continually strives to reduce complexity within the product portfolio.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Skilled at prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to balance urgency, process, and creativity, ensuring high-quality products are delivered on schedule.

· Capable of managing expectations both with internal and external customers in a manner that builds trust

· Ability to make good decisions even when information is limited

· Ability to communicate and understand information and ideas clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing

· Highly organized, detailed planner with a proven record of execution/results

· Unquestionable Personal integrity and courage to do the right thing

· Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Requirements:

·Generally, 0-3 years of experience in product management, project management, or marketing.

· Associates degree or bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred

· Performs work under some supervision and may refer more complex issues to higher level-staff

Physical and Safety Requirements:

· Sedentary: Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying light items, driving an automobile, etc. Special physical demands are not required to perform the work
