Senior Product Manager, Health Data
Role Summary
The Senior Product Manager, Health Data is responsible for maximizing the value of IQVIA Health data across IQVIA Digital products, partnerships, and client solutions. This role serves as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for Health data within IQVIA Digital, supporting HCP, claims, and patient‑focused data offerings and contributing to client success initiatives.
The Senior Product Manager ensures strong collaboration across product, sales, delivery, and marketing to align product development with market needs and go‑to‑market strategies. This role bridges cross‑functional teams to deliver a cohesive and impactful product experience for both internal and external customers.
The successful candidate demonstrates strong strategic thinking, customer focus, and the ability to balance long‑term product vision with immediate roadmap and business priorities.
This role reports to the Director, Health Data and partners closely with the Product Owner, Health Data.
Key Responsibilities
Product Leadership & Subject Matter Expertise
- Serve as a Health Data subject matter expert and internal product ambassador within IQVIA Digital.
- Educate IQVIA colleagues and select external partners on Health data capabilities and use cases.
- Partner closely with the IQVIA Information business to strengthen alignment and shared value across IQVIA and IQVIA Digital.
- Identify gaps in existing Health data and evaluate external data partners to address unmet needs.
- Provide technical input and domain expertise to support Health data business requirements.
- Perform other duties, as assigned, under the guidance of the Director, Health Data.
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Contribute to the definition and execution of the Health Data product strategy and roadmap.
- Translate strategy and vision into clear roadmap prioritization and planning, including ongoing management of the IQVIA Digital Health Data Roadmap.
- Define, prioritize, and document product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, business value, and ROI.
- Develop detailed product specifications and translate requirements into prioritized user stories.
- Evaluate datasets for consistency, completeness, accuracy, and suitability for IQVIA Digital solutions.
- Support cross‑product initiatives leveraging Health data for internal and external use.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and guide decision‑making.
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and external partners to continuously gather insights and feedback.
Go‑to‑Market & Client Enablement
- Develop and maintain sales enablement materials, including product demos, presentations, differentiators, and enterprise‑level strategies.
- Train go‑to‑market teams and partner product teams on Health data features, enhancements, and positioning.
- Establish and maintain structured feedback loops with internal and external stakeholders to inform continuous product improvement.
Product Operations
- Support end‑to‑end processes for ingesting, validating, storing, securing, and processing Health data to ensure data accessibility, reliability, and timeliness.
- Develop and optimize processes for external data ingestion, from initial planning through post‑integration audits, aligned with end‑to‑end standards.
- Drive standardization of external file delivery and receipt (e.g., layouts, naming conventions, delivery schedules, error handling), implementing automation where feasible.
- Support ad hoc data specifications for new datasets and initiatives.
- Address internal and external data issues, questions, and incidents in a timely and accurate manner.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the product team and across IQVIA Digital.
- Support other Product Owners and Product Managers as needed.
Governance & Compliance
- Stay current on changes in U.S. federal and state regulations impacting the use of HCP, Patient, and Claims data.
- Partner with IQVIA stakeholders to adapt products and processes to new or emerging regulatory and policy requirements.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with IQVIA policies and applicable regulatory constraints.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant industry experience, including Product Manager and/or Product Owner responsibilities in an Agile environment.
- Experience working in large, complex organizations strongly preferred.
- Strong experience with IQVIA data assets (e.g., XPO, LAAD/ELAAD, NPA, PharMetrics Plus) is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience working with data products or data‑driven platforms.
- Strong strategic thinking and industry awareness, with the ability to translate market trends into actionable business and product requirements.
- Solid understanding of HCP and direct‑to‑consumer (DTC) marketing, or a willingness to learn.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail in a dynamic environment.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent relationship‑building and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $98,500.00 - $274,400.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
