Role Summary
The Health Care Professional (HCP) Data Senior Product Manager is responsible for maximizing the value and impact of IQVIA’s HCP profile and identity data across IQVIA Digital products, platforms, partners, and client solutions. This role serves as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for HCP profile & identity data within IQVIA Digital, with accountability for enabling scalable, compliant, and market‑leading HCP‑focused data offerings.
The Senior Product Manager drives cross‑functional alignment across product, sales, delivery, marketing, engineering, and partner product teams to ensure product strategy, roadmap execution, and go‑to‑market efforts are aligned with evolving market needs and customer use cases—delivering a cohesive experience to internal and external customers.
This role requires strategic thinking and the ability to bridge business, technical, and operational perspectives. The successful candidate brings a customer‑first mindset, balancing customer needs and market demand with long‑term product vision and roadmap commitments.
This position reports to the Director, Health Data and partners closely with two Product Owners, HCP.
Responsibilities
Overview
- Serve as the subject matter expert, internal product ambassador, and primary point of contact for the use of HCP profile & identity data within IQVIA Digital.
- Develop sales collateral and train go‑to‑market teams on product features and enhancements; provide demos, sales presentations, differentiators, and enterprise‑level positioning strategies.
- Establish and maintain a feedback loop between clients (internal/external), sales, and product to continuously improve offerings based on customer feedback and market needs.
- Identify gaps in HCP data and evaluate external partners/datasets to address those gaps.
- Provide technical expertise in defining business requirements for HCP data solutions.
- Manage ingestion of external HCP data and harmonization with existing IQVIA HCP assets.
- Educate IQVIA colleagues and select external partners on HCP data capabilities and use cases.
- Perform other duties as assigned, with guidance from the Director, Health Data.
Product Strategy
- Provide input into the HCP Data product strategy and roadmap.
- Translate product strategy and vision into roadmap prioritization and planning, including supporting management of the IQVIA Digital HCP Data Roadmap.
- Define and prioritize product features/enhancements based on customer feedback, business impact, and ROI.
- Document product specifications; prioritize and translate requirements into user stories and story points.
- Evaluate datasets for consistency, completeness, accuracy, and reasonableness; thoroughly vet potential partners whose data can help maintain IQVIA Digital HCP data’s industry‑leading position.
- Support the use of HCP data for internal and external use via cross‑product initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders (e.g., internal teams, clients, partners) to gather insights and feedback.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment (engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support) to ensure successful product development and implementation.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform decision‑making.
Product Operations
- Support processes for ingesting, validating, storing, protecting, and processing required HCP data to ensure accessibility, reliability, and timeliness.
- Develop and optimize an end‑to‑end process for external data ingestion from planning through post‑integration audits, ensuring adherence to standards.
- Standardize delivery/receipt of external files (layouts, naming conventions, delivery and receipt confirmation, error notifications), implementing automation where feasible.
- Support ad hoc data specifications for new datasets.
- Develop and/or partner on communications needed (internal and external).
- Address internal and external HCP data issues, questions, and problems accurately and in a timely manner.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the product team and across the organization.
- Support other Product Owners and Product Managers as needed.
Governance
- Stay current on changes to U.S. law and the regulatory environment that may affect usage of HCP data within IQVIA products.
- Partner with IQVIA stakeholders to adapt to new or emerging restrictions and remain compliant with U.S. federal/state laws and IQVIA policies.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant industry experience with data integrations, including Product Manager and/or Product Owner responsibilities in an Agile environment; large company experience is a plus.
- Proven history working with data products (or directly alongside data products) in a product delivery environment.
- Strategic business and industry awareness, with the ability to translate emerging trends into actionable business requirements.
- Solid understanding of HCP and direct‑to‑consumer (DTC) marketing.
- Strong attention to detail; adaptable to changing priorities; ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to work creatively and effectively in a fast‑paced environment, independently and as a team player.
- Strong relationship‑building skills with coworkers, managers, and clients, including the ability to influence and drive alignment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $98,500.00 - $274,400.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
