Product Manager, Enterprise Retail Capabilities

What you'll do

The Product Manager, Enterprise Retail Capability is responsible for defining and delivering enterprise-level retail capabilities that enable operational excellence and support strategic priorities. This role sets the product vision, manages the roadmap, and partners with business and technology teams to ensure capabilities meet evolving business needs. The ideal candidate will lead prioritization, oversee capability design and implementation, and champion adoption across the organization. Success in this role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for retail capabilities in alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Own and manage a capability portfolio, ensuring prioritization based on business value and strategic impact.

  • Lead cross-functional teams—including Merchandising, Planning, Supply Chain, Procurement, Replenishment, Pricing, UX, Tech, and Data—to deliver capabilities on time and within scope.

  • Translate business needs into clear product requirements and user stories; ensure technical feasibility and scalability.

  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to gather insights, validate requirements, and drive alignment.

  • Oversee backlog management, sprint planning, and release cycles in an Agile environment.

  • Monitor capability performance and adoption; identify opportunities for enhancement and continuous improvement.

  • Partner with Change Management to design communication, training, and adoption strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with governance standards and alignment with enterprise architecture principles.

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to Associate Managers and Consultants supporting capability delivery.

  • Report on product health, risks, and progress to senior leadership; recommend adjustments as needed.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.

  • 7+ years of experience in retail, product management, or enterprise capability development.

  • Proven ability to define product strategy and deliver complex initiatives in an Agile environment.

  • Strong understanding of retail operations and related functions (Merchandising, Supply Chain, Pricing, etc.).

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills; able to influence at all levels.

  • Experience with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and process mapping tools (e.g., Lucid).

  • Analytical mindset with ability to assess business impact, ROI, and risk.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing teams or indirect reports.

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in fast-paced environments.

Our typical hiring range is between $81,000 - $131,000.

Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
