What You'll Do
As the Digital Technology Product Manager, you will drive the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of high-impact digital products that enable Archer’s enterprise systems, engineering operations, and corporate functions to scale effectively. Reporting to the Head of DTO PMO / SoC, you will operate at the intersection of technology, business transformation, and operational excellence — translating enterprise needs into clear product strategies and measurable outcomes.
This is a senior product leadership role suited for a strategic, execution-oriented leader who can align cross-functional stakeholders, manage complexity, and deliver secure, scalable, and compliant digital capabilities.
- Define and own the product vision, multi-quarter roadmap, and investment priorities for key Digital Technology platforms (enterprise systems, infrastructure tooling, AI-enabled workflows, and operational applications).
- Partner with Engineering, Finance, Operations, InfoSec, and Compliance to identify high-value opportunities and translate them into clearly defined product increments.
- Establish outcome-driven KPIs tied to business value (efficiency gains, risk reduction, automation lift, compliance maturity, user adoption).
- Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management — from discovery and business case development through launch, adoption, and continuous optimization.
- Drive disciplined backlog prioritization aligned to AOP, capacity constraints, and enterprise risk posture.
- Ensure alignment with cybersecurity, SOX, and ITGC requirements across all in-scope systems and initiatives.
- Champion scalable product governance — intake frameworks, stage gates, dashboard reporting, and executive-ready status communication.
- Influence senior stakeholders and executive leadership with data-driven insights and structured trade-off analysis.
- Collaborate with PMO, architecture, and engineering leads to ensure delivery predictability, risk transparency, and measurable value realization.
What You Need
- 8+ years of experience in product management, digital transformation, or enterprise technology roles, with demonstrated ownership of complex enterprise platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with enterprise systems (ERP, PLM, HRIS, security tooling, or operational platforms).
- Strong financial and analytical acumen — ability to build business cases, quantify ROI, and manage budget accountability.
- Deep understanding of governance, compliance, and technology controls (SOX, ITGC, change management, access controls).
- Demonstrated ability to influence at Director/VP level and operate effectively in cross-functional, matrixed environments.
- Strong communication skills — able to translate between technical, operational, and executive audiences.
- Experience working within structured PMO environments and agile/hybrid delivery models.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience in aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, or other hardware-intensive industries.
- Exposure to AI-enabled enterprise tools or workflow automation platforms.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and enterprise risk management models.
- Experience supporting rapid growth environments with scaling infrastructure and systems maturity initiatives.
- Prior experience reporting into or closely partnering with C-suite leaders on digital strategy.
- +4 years of experience in digital technology infrastructure at a OEM or Tier 1 level aerospace, automotive, or defense company.
