The Microfluidics Technology and Operations team is seeking a Product Manager to lead market insights, competitive intelligence, and pricing strategy for HP’s microfluidics‑based data center cooling solutions. This role works closely with partners across product, finance, sales, engineering, and supply chain to inform decisions that support sustainable growth and customer value.

Pricing and cost strategy are central to this role, serving as strategic tools to support competitive positioning, responsible cost structures, and long‑term business objectives. This is a highly analytical and commercially focused product management opportunity for someone who values data‑driven decision‑making, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

Market & Competitive Insights

  • Lead structured analysis of market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics across products, pricing approaches, positioning, and go‑to‑market strategies.
  • Develop and maintain competitor profiles, pricing benchmarks, and differentiation frameworks to inform strategic decision‑making.
  • Translate market signals and competitive insights into clear, actionable recommendations for product and pricing strategy.

Cost & Value Strategy

  • Partner closely with engineering, operations, and finance teams to understand product cost structures and value drivers.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize cost and value trade‑offs that support competitive pricing while maintaining healthy margins.
  • Integrate cost considerations into pricing strategy, product decisions, and scenario planning.

Pricing Strategy Ownership

  • Define, evolve, and maintain pricing strategies (e.g., value‑based, cost‑informed) aligned with market conditions and customer segments.
  • Build pricing models and scenario analyses to support adoption, revenue growth, and margin objectives.
  • Monitor pricing performance and market response to continuously refine strategy over time.

Product & Business Influence

  • Influence product roadmap and investment decisions using competitive, market, and financial insights.
  • Quantify business impact of feature investments, pricing changes, and competitive gaps.
  • Deliver clear, executive‑ready insights and recommendations related to competition, forecasts, and business performance.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience developing and evolving pricing strategies in technology, industrial, or complex solution environments.
  • Experience working with market, competitive, and financial data to support strategic decisions.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including financial modeling, competitive benchmarking, and margin analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with cross‑functional partners such as product, sales, finance, and engineering.
  • Ability to translate complex data and insights into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations.
  • Experience in data center technologies or cooling solutions is valued, but not required; relevant transferable experience is welcome.
  • Typically brings several years of related experience in product management, product marketing, strategy, or a closely related role.

The pay range for this role is $105,050 to $161,800 USD annually with additional

opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United

States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related

knowledge, skills, and experience.
