Product Manager – Credit Decisioning

Who are we looking for? 

As a Product Manager within the Tribe Business Lending department (i.e. Customer Journey Expert), you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing Credit Risk Management solutions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary squad that brings together both business and IT expertise.

Your role will involve learning how we assess a company’s financial health and help design solutions that make this process seamless and automated.

You will:

• Assist in gathering and documenting business needs from stakeholders.
• Help analyze financial and risk data to identify key drivers and trends.
• Translate analytical insights into IT solutions and decisioning rules / credit models.
• Work closely with colleagues from risk, compliance, sales, and data teams to understand their needs and contribute to effective solutions.
• Participate in backlog refinement and prioritization discussions to align faster and effective delivery.
• Scale existing solutions and continuously learn how innovative technologies /advanced analytics are used in real-world banking scenarios.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain exposure to both business and IT aspects of credit risk management, while working in an Agile, multidisciplinary squad.

Next to that, you have: 

• A strong interest in technology, analytics, and financial services.
• Curiosity about credit risk and how businesses are assessed for financing.
• Affinity with new technologies, including Analytical Algorithms and Generative AI, and a strong interest in applying these in your work.
• Basic understanding of data analysis and willingness to learn/use tools like SQL or BI platforms.
• A proactive attitude and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to translate complex problems into pragmatic solutions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Familiarity with Agile ways of working is a plus (but not required).
