High-Level Overview:

As a Product Manager, you will help shape features that empower clients to manage, measure, and optimize their impact initiatives. Operating within the Product organization and working closely with dedicated scrum teams, you’ll collaborate with senior product leaders, cross-functional partners, and enterprise clients to deliver intuitive, data-driven tools for good. The work you do will directly benefit our granting clients, creating cutting-edge functionality for the corporate social responsibility space.

You will have significant responsibilities for the full product lifecycle inclusive of ideation, discovery, requirement building, refinement, launch, and measurement for our granting team. This role resides in the Product Organization and works day-to-day with our scrum teams. You will partner with and guide our engineering colleagues as they build the functionality you design. Benevity is a fast-paced organization and our Product Managers are key to the speed and quality of our product enhancements. Maintaining processes while understanding the needs of our clients and colleagues is at the core of being a successful Product Manager.

What you'll do:

  • Communication with Engineering teams on a daily basis to ensure epics, user stories and expectations are understood, questions are answered, and feedback is clear 
  • Ownership of a product backlog requiring consistent generation and management of thoroughly articulated development-ready feature requirements
  • Cross-functional collaboration with internal teams to ensure alignment on needs, feasibility of designs, and other implications associated with feature development 
  • Development and maintenance of roadmaps and product presentations 
  • Regular client interaction:
    • Roadmap and feature presentations
    • Q&A on product capabilities and options based on client needs  
  • Understanding and application of product strategy to make feature decisions (timing, direction, goals)
  • Analysis of features with the ability to make and defend assumptions using internal and external data

What you'll bring:

  • 3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner or Product Manager for a SaaS company
  • Experience with backlog management
  • Requirements building 
  • Direct engineering engagement 
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (especially Scrum) and experience managing software development procedures
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear development tasks
  • Passion for social impact, sustainability, or corporate responsibility
  • Experience with tools such as ADO, Aha, Jira, Confluence, Figma, and impact data platforms
  • AI Experience:
    • AI feature development 
    • Utilization of AI tools for product management (prototyping, requirements development, or other optimization activity)

Nice to Have

  • Certification in Agile or Product Ownership (CSPO, SAFe, etc.)
  • Experience with corporate social responsibility software 
  • Experience in a highly regulated industry
  • Prior work with a B2B SaaS company
  • Previous software engineering experience 
  • Hands-on experience identifying, scoping, and integrating AI capabilities into B2B SaaS products

 

Salary range - Ontario
$77,800$106,920 CAD
