About Autodesk Construction Cloud

Autodesk Construction Cloud connects workflows, teams, and data across the entire construction lifecycle - from design and planning through build and operations. The Build product area sits at the heart of how project teams coordinate, communicate, and close out work on construction sites.

Position Overview

We're looking for a Product Manager to own this tool end-to-end - not just maintain it, but reimagine it. You'll drive the strategy, roadmap, discovery, and delivery for a product used by general contractors, architects, engineers, and owners on projects that shape the built environment. You'll also help define what AI-powered construction workflows look like - in a space where that question is being answered right now, and where the winner takes significant ground.

This is a high-ownership, high-impact role. You'll work closely with customers, engineering, design, and global cross-functional teams across the Autodesk platform. You'll have a seat at the table for one of the most strategically important toolsets in Autodesk Forma/Build platform.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the RFI product strategy, ensuring alignment with customer needs, competitive positioning, and business goals.

  • Own the product roadmap, prioritize features, and drive execution - balancing speed, quality, and long-term platform impact.

  • Work closely with engineering to develop scalable, secure, and field-ready solutions that hold up on the most complex commercial projects.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams - R&D, UI/UX, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success - to bring features from concept to launch.

  • Build direct relationships with top-tier construction customers; run discovery sessions and field research to stay grounded in how the workflow actually operates.

  • Translate complex construction workflows and technical challenges into clear product requirements and user-friendly solutions.

  • Lead the definition and delivery of AI-powered RFI capabilities - from smart drafting and duplicate detection to summarization and automated routing.

  • Drive go-to-market efforts for RFI features, ensuring successful adoption, engagement, and measurable customer impact.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends in construction technology, AI-driven automation, and the competitive landscape to inform future product direction.

  • Use data and customer insights to continuously optimize the RFI experience and drive outcomes across the broader Forma platform.

Requirements

  • +3 years of product management experience, with a track record of owning a product surface end-to-end and shipping meaningful improvements

  • Customer-obsessed - you seek out customers proactively, run structured discovery, and use what you learn to make better decisions

  • Independent and fast-moving - you don't wait to be told what to prioritize; you build the case, align the team, and ship

  • Holistic thinker - you see how your product connects to the broader platform and user journey, not just your own backlog

  • Strong communicator - you can write a crisp one-pager, present to a VP, and explain a technical constraint to a customer in the same day

  • Collaborative across functions - you know how to work with engineering, design, data, and GTM; you build trust across disciplines and across time zones.

Advantages That Will Set You Apart

  • Familiarity with AI tools and capabilities - you've worked with or built with AI-powered tools, you understand how AI can upgrade the PM work, and you're comfortable using these tools in your day-to-day work

  • Experience in the construction industry - whether as a practitioner, at a construction tech company (Procore, Trimble, Oracle Aconex, Fieldwire, or similar), or in adjacent AEC software - is a significant advantage; you'll hit the ground running on day one

  • Multi-platform product experience - you've worked across the full stack: web, mobile iOS, and Android - and understand how each platform shapes user experience, trade-offs, and delivery

  • Experience with enterprise SaaS and complex workflow tooling

  • Experience building or evaluating AI features in a production context
