Sendbird is on a mission to build the AI workforce of tomorrow. We are looking for two interns to work on one of our top initiatives: Sendbird’s AI Agent platform.
You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and design teams to support building, integrating, and deploying intelligent agents across real-world use cases.
If you're excited about AI, curious about how products solve real customer problems, and eager to learn fast — you’ll fit right in.
What you will do
Support the AI Agent Product Manager in defining and refining product strategy and roadmap for Sendbird’s AI Agent — a platform for proactive, omnichannel customer experience.
Participate in market, user, and competitive research to identify opportunities that strengthen the AI Agent’s positioning in the industry.
Learn to navigate the AI technology stack, including LLM evaluation (Claude, GPT, Gemini), RAG pipelines, TTS solutions, evaluations, and vector stores — assisting in documentation, benchmarking, and internal evaluations.
Support and lead new initiatives (0 → 1 or incremental releases), including drafting product requirement documents, managing internal feedback, and tracking post-launch performance.
Participate in weekly product reviews and OKR check-ins, contributing insights and supporting team execution with strong attention to detail.
Assist in preparing product demos, presentations, and customer communication materials to evangelize the AI Agent vision internally and externally.
What you bring
Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Strong interest in AI/ML, conversational AI, or new LLM-powered software applications
Analytical and data-driven mindset — comfortable using metrics and feedback to make decisions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English; comfortable working in a global, cross-functional environment.
Enthusiasm for learning how product management works in a high-growth startup.
Extra helpful if you have
Prior exposure to prompt engineering frameworks (e.g., LangChain).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Lambda, Vercel, GCP Cloud Functions).
UX design or product management involvement in AI products.
Experience with Django or similar Python web frameworks.
What you will do
Support the Forward Deployed Product Manager (FDPM) team in working directly with customers to understand their business goals and identify opportunities to deploy Sendbird’s AI Agent platform effectively.
Assist in designing and testing AI-powered workflows, from pilot to production, learning how real customers use conversational AI to drive business impact.
Help maintain and improve internal tools, playbooks, and documentation that streamline customer onboarding and deployment processes.
Learn how Sendbird balances customized customer delivery with scalable product development for global clients.
What you will learn
How AI agent products are deployed and customized for real-world business use cases.
How to work cross-functionally across product, engineering, customer success, and AI research teams.
How to continuously improve AI agent from real-world responses
How to gather and prioritize customer feedback to inform a product roadmap.
The practical steps of managing pilot → production lifecycles for enterprise clients.
How to communicate technical concepts clearly to both customers and internal stakeholders.
Who you are
Curious and Customer-Oriented. You enjoy understanding how users interact with technology and how products create business value.
Technically-Inclined. You’re studying (or have studied) Computer Science, Engineering, or another technical field, and you’re excited to apply that knowledge in real-world product scenarios.
Adaptable and Proactive. You thrive in fast-moving environments, enjoy problem-solving, and don’t hesitate to jump in where help is needed.
Collaborative Communicator. You like working across teams and are comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Globally Minded. You’re interested in working with international customers and are fluent in English.
