About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Product Management Senior Manager to lead the Payment Services team within Platform Transformation, to define product outcomes and strategy, driving towards the end-state vision. Our Global Payments & Liquidity, Product organization is dedicated to expanding core payments products and enhancing pricing discipline for deposits and fees with existing clients. We are investing in modernizing our payments platforms & architecture to build robust payment ecosystems. 

This role is responsible for driving and aligning cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional omni-channel payment experiences and products that generate measurable business outcomes and customer value. It involves end-to-end leadership of payments execution and transformation initiatives, including oversight of key business and customer metrics.  Will serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, shaping and influencing business plans, defining business requirements, and guiding product design and implementation to meet complex business, operational, and technical needs.

In this role, you will:

  • Define and communicate Payment Services vision, scope, and priorities; manage backlog and set goals for cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver upgraded technologies and processes

  • Advise leadership on business plans and requirements; direct product design and implementation for complex business and technical needs

  • Oversee strategic product management for diverse, highly technical offerings

  • Lead resolution of complex challenges requiring deep understanding of enterprise-wide synergies and opportunities

  • Deliver long-term, large-scale servicing solutions that account for global market dynamics, regulatory impacts, and risk management

  • Provide strategic guidance and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative business solutions across diverse product lines

  • Engage with leaders, stakeholders, subject matter experts, and delivery teams across the organization.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of wires (Fed, SWIFT, CHIPS) product management within banking or financial services

  • 2+ years of experience in large transformation programs

  • Payment messaging / formatting experience (ISO 20022, MT, CHIPS)

  • Ability to oversee & execute product management with strategic focus 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with meticulous attention to detail

  • Ability to synthesize and simplify complex information for diverse audiences

  • Customer-centric mindset with end-to-end thinking, initiative, and ability to meet deadlines independently

Job Expectations:

  • This position is a hybrid work model. Must be willing to work out of the Charlotte, NC, Chandler, AZ, Irving, TX, Salt Lake City, UT, Minneapolis, MN, San Francisco, CA office approximately 3 days a week

Pay Range:

  • Charlotte, NC: $139,000 - $217,000

  • Chandler, AZ: $139,000 - $217,000

  • Irving, TX: $139,000 - $217,000

  • Salt Lake City, UT: $139,000 - $217,000

  • Minneapolis, MN: $153,000 - $239,000

  • San Francisco, CA: $167,000 - $260,000

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$139,000.00 - $260,000.00
