Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated Summer Intern to join our Product team, which builds data‑driven products for the global automotive industry. This internship offers hands‑on exposure to the core responsibilities of a Product Manager, with opportunities to contribute to the development, launch, and performance of our data and AI‑enabled products.

As an intern, you will work closely with product managers, data specialists, and technology partners to help shape products that support strategic decision‑making across the automotive ecosystem.

Location: Southfield, MI (Please note: relocation assistance is not available)

What You’ll Work On

Go‑to‑Market & Product Launch Support

  • Assist in designing go‑to‑market materials to support the launch of our new AI Advisor within a core automotive reporting product.
  • Help translate product capabilities into clear, compelling value propositions for internal and external audiences.

Product Testing & Quality Validation

  • Support product testing activities to validate that the AI Advisor delivers accurate, reliable, and user‑relevant insights.
  • Document findings and collaborate with product and technology teams to identify improvement opportunities.

Product Development & Data Readiness

  • Contribute to refining data and AI readiness inputs that inform product development decisions.
  • Gain exposure to how automotive data is structured, validated, and leveraged within data products.

Product Financial Performance & Insights

  • Help design and document a product coding and tracking structure that enables product managers to understand product performance at the right level of detail.
  • Support analysis that links product usage and performance to strategic and financial outcomes.

Custom Deliverable Analysis

  • Use our available AI tools to help us understand the detailed content of custom data extracts we deliver to customers
  • Design a method to categorize these to answer specific business questions

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in business, analytics, engineering, data science, or a related field
  • Strong interest in product management, data products, and the automotive industry
  • Analytical, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working with data and documentation
  • Clear communicator who can collaborate across technical and non‑technical teams
