Product Management Analyst III

Inside the Role

This position is responsible for the strategy and positioning of the product segment. You will be responsible for analyzing the market for your products; determining any product gaps; advising Pricing of any updates or changes in your strategy; working with Supply Chain and PDC Ops to ensure appropriate stocking levels and to resolve any issues with stocking; performing regular reviews of the business with your top suppliers; working with our Excelerator Parts team to ensure visibility of your products online; and working as a champion on various projects such as the planning and implementation of our Parts Conferences. This position be highly visible within the organization, so strong communication and story telling skills are important.

Position offers a starting salary range of $104,000 - $133,000 USD 

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTNA

  • Manages the product/brand P&L (e.g., budgeting, expenditures, profitability, ROI etc.)

  • Analyzes potential markets, competitor positioning, and customer buying patterns to project demand/profitability for potential products, key product features/requirements, favorable timing for product launch, etc.

  • Partners with product development and marketing teams to ensure that customer needs for each targeted segment are incorporated into product design, branding, and marketing approaches

  • Develops product commercialization strategies (e.g., pricing, licensing, distribution etc.)

  • Analyzes product/brand performance and customer feedback as input to product enhancements

  • Participate in Parts Marketing and Strategy projects as assigned

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • BS/BA and prefer 5-7 years of relevant experience or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree

  • Strong strategic planning and business skills

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field preferred

  • 2-4 years of experience in product management / product marketing preferred

  • Strong, empathetic communicator - have a demonstrated ability to tell the story about your product or campaign

  • Demonstrated market analytics skills 

  • Experience building marketing campaigns for different market segments

  • Demonstrated background leading cross-functional teams

  • Product Management or Product Marketing certification
