The Opportunity
The Global High-Net-Worth (Global HNW) Life Insurance Business was formed in 2023 to leverage Manulife’s enterprise-wide capabilities in serving this customer segment. By bringing together Manulife Bermuda with Manulife Hong Kong’s and Manulife Singapore’s International Brokerage Channel, the GHNW business can capitalize on the strengths of the three business units to accelerate growth in the HNW and Ultra HNW markets.
Manulife Bermuda is viewed as a leader in the Global High-Net-Worth life insurance market with capacity to write insurance on residents in over 150 countries. Reporting to the Manulife Bermuda Sr Director of Product Management, this role will operate as a leader, a strategist, a consultant and an implementer. You will collaborate with global, cross-functional teams to drive product development, prioritize features and manage the product lifecycle to build industry leading HNW life insurance products that exceed business objectives and meet customer needs.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate cross-functionally with our management, distribution, pricing, and strategy teams to drive product development and prioritize features & enhancements
Work closely with the Product AVP to identify market opportunities and champion innovations
Ensure that products meet business objectives and customer needs
Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch monitoring
Contribute to the creation of Global HNW product strategies and roadmaps
Oversee and manage a wide variety of highly prioritized projects, as well as complete ad-hoc projects, requests, and analyses
Develop and maintain highly productive and strategic internal and external relationships and partnerships for the benefit of the organization
Gather and analyze customer and market feedback to continuously improve and innovate products
Provide regular updates on product performance and market trends to the leadership team
Contribute to the development of efficient and effective processes for product management and development
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, or related field
Creative thinker with an innovative, growth-oriented mindset
Proven experience in product development, implementation and critical thinking, including product lifecycle management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to gather and analyze customer feedback to drive product innovation
Understanding of market trends and customer needs in the high-net-worth segment
Strategic thinking and the ability to contribute to product strategies and roadmaps
Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and influence associates at all levels and at a distance

Salary range is expected to be between
$86,250.00 CAD - $155,250.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact recruitment@manulife.com for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
