Retail Banking Analytics (RBA) in ING Analytics is looking for a Product Lead for Consumer Finance Analytics domain. As a Product Lead you will originate and build data-driven algorithmic products. This is an entrepreneurial and global role in an innovative international team.
The team
ING Analytics aims, by using data & AI, at differentiating ING as a leader in a data-driven organization, within the banking sector and beyond. The team consists of delivery tribes focused on the bank’s key domains (such as Operations, Retail Banking, Wholesale banking, etc.), local country analytics teams, as well as strong support areas around data management, technology, customer journey, UX, and an analytics office in charge of strategy, partnerships, portfolio and business development that you will be part of.

RBA specialises in delivering Analytics and AI products and solutions across the ING retail business. We work together with all retail business units to deliver on the ING retail banking strategy. Projects span across personalisation and CI, mortgages, consumer finance, collections, pricing, and business banking.
Roles and responsibilities
We are looking for a committed, ambitious and delivery-oriented Product Lead to support Retail Banking Analytics realize its strategic ambitions.
Product Leads (PLs) have strategic responsibility for their product area and thus support the Tribe Leads and Product Area Leads. They are responsible for Setting the product vision, Defining the product roadmap, and Aligning the product with business objectives. The PL are the driving force behind the product, ensuring that the solution meets the needs of the customer and aligns with the company’s overall strategy.

What is the next step in terms of the area.
What Analytics roadmap do we need to get there? What is the first step (eg experiment or pilot as value Proofpoint)?
What are the main impediments with other teams (both other INGA and outside INGA)?
Main Activities
Define product vision and roadmap. Product leads typically own and craft the product strategy and roadmap for their domain across their squads.
They interact with the business tribe leads as counterpart, plus actively search for outside in perspectives, plus seek input from product managers they work with, to craft an overall product strategy.
Collaborate with senior ING stakeholders to understand needs.
Gather input from stakeholders and make informed decisions about the product’s direction.
Understanding customer needs and translating it into product requirements. Work closely with customers to gather feedback and insights, which then shape the product’s features and functionalities
Manage cross-functional teams to deliver on goals.

Proven track record of successfully delivering customer facing solutions within the lending domain. Previous experience in lending, pricing, collections or credit risk domains is a must
Demonstrated ability to align product strategy with business objectives and customer needs.
Extensive experience and deep understanding of lending products, processes, and customer needs.
Strong knowledge of analytics, including data-driven decision-making and performance measurement.
Good understanding of model development cycle, including working with machine learning and statistical models relevant to lending domain.
Ability to define product vision and roadmap, particularly for analytics-driven lending solutions.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Ambitious, delivery-oriented, and committed to driving innovation in the lending and analytics space.
10+ years of relevant experience managing products & leading teams
Degree in relevant field
Written and spoken fluency in English
