Great American’s culture is built on connection, shared learning, and strong relationships. To support this, employees in this role are expected to be on-site four days a week, with the flexibility to work one day remotely. Core in‑office days are Tuesday–Thursday, with the fourth day determined by business needs.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
Contributes to and supports divisional premium volume growth and profitability goals.
Assists with preparing and submitting insurance product filings, including policy forms, rates, and rules, to state insurance departments.
Monitors and assists with tracking the status of filings, ensuring timely responses to regulatory inquiries.
Participates in collaborating with product development, actuarial, and legal teams to gather necessary information for filings.
Assists with maintaining detailed records of all activities related to filings.
Assists in reviewing and interpreting state insurance regulations to ensure compliance.
Provides regular updates and reports to management on filing activities and outcomes.
May assist with implementing process improvements to enhance filing efficiency and accuracy.
Enters data into appropriate systems and researches and resolves data errors.
Participates in identifying opportunities to streamline procedures, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.
Assists with gathering information for product development, such as competitor filings.
Assists with performing audits on underwriters and policy issuers.
Supports appointment of external producers.
Performs other duties as assigned.
