What will you do? 

Design and Development: 

  • Design, develop, and implement new products from the initial concept (drawing or red pen) to prototype manufacturing throughout the entire development phase.
  • Work on prototypes, special samples, and initial production runs after process adjustments.

Production Optimization and Management:

  • Oversee production to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Track engineering changes, new product launches, and report to management.

Collaboration and Management:

  • Work with cross-functional teams (such as design, marketing, and sales) to ensure products meet specifications and requirements.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure design requirements are met.
  • Manage teams, oversee processes, and ensure personnel safety and regulatory compliance.

How will you do it? 

  • Apply continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma. 

  • Utilize CAD tools for design and validation. 

  • Implement advanced technologies (automation, robotics) in manufacturing processes. 

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage timelines using project management tools. 

  • Perform data-driven analysis for strategic decision-making. 

  • Document activities and results in clear, structured reports. 

What are we looking for?  

Required: 

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing, or related fields. 

  • Proficiency in CAD tools. 

  • Knowledge of automation, robotics, and emerging technologies. 

  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma). 

  • Strong leadership and project management capabilities. 

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, both in English and Spanish. 

  • Analytical mindset and ability to solve complex problems. 

  • Background in process design and product development. 

  • Experience implementing technology in manufacturing environments. 

  • Preferred: Certification in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Project Management (PMP).
