UnspecifiedResponsible for the review and analysis of Engineering change packages ( Engineering Change Notice (ECN), Drawings, etc.) and provide engineering disposition for accuracy and correct product configuration.
Support Engineering, Purchasing and Manufacturing in defining and resolving configuration control issues.
Ensures strict adherence to all change processes associated with product and processes.
Coordinate the implementation of released ECN to all cross functional teams ( Operations, Manufacturing Engineers, Quality, Stores, BOM, EWI )
Spearhead daily Change Review Board ( CRB) meetings to discuss ECN implementation, follow-up closure of actions items to ensure full implementation of released ECNs.
Communicates effectively within and outside of own team to explain facts, policies and practices related to work area.
Can influence decision makers with recommended course of action
Problems are typically within a single area of responsibility and are typically solved through exercise of discretion and/or judgment, drawing from prior experiences or standard procedures and basic analysis
Responsible for making minor changes in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of work area
Procedure writing to set standards.
Ensure KPI’s / metrics of the team are met
All other tasks that are deemed appropriate by Operations Engineering Manager.
Adheres to and participates in all EH&S practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
3-4 years of relevant Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge in reading and interpreting 2D blueprints with understanding of critical specifications and tolerances.
Experience in Team Center or other PLM software applications.
Understanding of problem-solving tools (RRCA, DMAIC, 8D) and GD&T.
Experience with Plastics Thermoforming, Metal Machining, Sheet Metal Fabrication, Surface Processing, and/or Mechanical Assemblies is an advantage.
Knowledge of industry standards and specifications is an advantage (AS9100, NAS, BAC, ASTM, MIL etc.)
Experience leading complex projects and assignments is an advantage.
Ability to solve problems and implement solutions.
Highly analytical and very keen on details.
Above average to excellent Computer skills.
Good team collaboration skills.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Must be at least a year in a current job level/post
Should not be under a Performance Succession Plan.
Should not received any disciplinary action for one year.
