Job Description Summary:
Position Overview:
The Coca-Cola Company’s North America Product Development R&D Team is actively recruiting for a 2026 Summer Internship position. The chosen candidate will support exploratory initiatives for next generation of beverages in the sports category leveraging AI.
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:
Conduct market analysis on consumer trends in the sports category
Learn product development process by assisting other R&D team members towards day-to-day R&D activities
Learn different beverage manufacturing processes used at industrial scale
Work closely with cross-functional technical team to understand the research gaps in sports hydration
Conduct bench top formulation work to design and develop new products
Contribute towards building next generation sports products, learn new skills, and get to have lots of fun at the same time
Education Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master's in Food Science or closely related field or have graduated from their degree program no earlier than December 2025.
Related Work Experience:
Previous internship or industrial experience preferred, but not necessary
Functional Skills:
Foundational Food Science Knowledge
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Ability to perform in a challenging, dynamic and changing environment
Service minded, team player, high level of commitment
Passionate with an aptitude to quickly learn
Compensation:
Monthly Salary (undergraduate): $4,506
Monthly Salary (graduate): $6,066
