Product Development Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • • Apply analytical tools such as FEA, DFMEA, DFSS, and DFM/DFA to optimize product designs.
    • Develop and refine design concepts by generating creative solutions, evaluating risks, and improving existing or new products and processes.
    • Prepare complete design packages and engineering documentation for new or modified products.
    • Design, modify, and assemble mechanical components, coordinating development activities within defined frameworks.
    • Perform simulations, calculations, and design investigations covering strength, service life, wear, dimensions, weight, and functional performance.
    • Analyze and report test results, evaluate benchmarking outcomes, and perform root-cause investigations on returned components.
    • Support product launches through design, prototyping, testing, PPAP activities, and APQP processes.
    • Provide technical leadership and support to customers, sales, marketing, and cross-functional teams, including training and problem resolution.
    • Manage multiple engineering projects using structured problem-solving methods while participating in continuous improvement programs such as Kaizen, 5S, and VA/VE.
    • Prepare and deliver effective presentations, maintain detailed records and drawings, and travel to customers, suppliers, or other facilities as required.

Qualifications:

BS in Mechanical Engineering required

MS in Mechanical Engineering or other technical field preferred

Professional-Level English language skills preferred
