JOB SUMMARY

The Staff Product Industrial Designer will participate on projects ranging from consumer lifestyle products to technology-driven medical products as part of a world class design and innovation team. This role will typically receive direction on a fairly regular basis and will receive mentoring from senior designers and the Design Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·         Translates requirements, needs and insights into compelling user experiences
·         Contribute design knowledge and experience to product development projects
·         Participate in project teams from concept generation, refinement and detailing
·         Attend and support presentations and assist the team in helping clients meet key project milestones
·         Regular reporting of activities
·         Conceptualize ways of providing new and improved value to our customers
·         Assist with keeping design projects on budget and within timeframe
·         May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

·         Strong 3D modeling/rendering proficiency. 3D software: Solid Works/Rhino
