About the Role

Designers at Bitsight play a vital role across the product lifecycle: from understanding user needs to defining product vision to delivering high-quality, polished experiences.

In this role, you will:

  • Design data-rich experiences that turn complex security and risk signals into clear insights

  • Help shape agentic capabilities that guide users from insight → action and carry out workflow.

  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to translate advanced capabilities into intuitive user experiences.

  • Contribute to evolving our design system to support emerging AI patterns.

  • Help define how trust, explainability, and clarity show up in intelligent features.

We’re especially excited about designers who have experience building and designing AI-powered products and agents and who enjoy thinking in systems, workflows, and outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design initiatives across complex, data-intensive product areas.

  • Translate technical systems (data pipelines, scoring models, AI outputs) into usable, human-centered workflows.

  • Design interfaces that clearly communicate insights, recommendations, and next steps.

  • Collaborate early with cross-functional partners to shape problem framing and solution direction.

  • Conduct and synthesize user research to inform product decisions.

  • Create diagrams, workflows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs aligned with our design system.

  • Continuously evaluate and improve experiences through iteration and feedback.

  • Contribute to strengthening design culture, practices, and craft within the team.

Qualifications

  • Experience designing data-rich or analytics-driven B2B or enterprise web applications.

  • Proficiency in designing AI-powered or ML-informed product experiences 

  • Familiarity with LLM-driven interfaces, automation workflows, or recommendation systems.

  • Strong interaction design and systems thinking skills.

  • Proficiency in Figma or similar tools.

  • Experience conducting UX research and usability testing.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills.

  • Fluency in English.

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is US$90000 to $115000 annually for US-based employees.  This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations, is based on a full-time work schedule, and is Bitsight’s good faith estimate as of the date of this posting.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for participation in a bonus or commission plan and an equity grant.  Bitsight also offers a competitive benefits package, including but not but limited to medical, dental, and vision insurance; paid parental leave; flexible time off; a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities; life and disability insurance; and tuition reimbursement.
