👉 Discover life at TheFork

What you will do:

  • Deliver clear, usable, and polished solutions for well-scoped problems within your squad.
  • Operate within existing problem framing while asking clarifying questions about users, goals, constraints, and success criteria before moving to solutions.
  • Participate in discovery activities alongside Product Managers and Researchers, apply research insights to your design work, and surface unknowns early.
  • Design effective flows and experiences within defined constraints, applying existing patterns and components correctly.
  • Use and contribute to the design system appropriately — flag when deviations may be needed and seek alignment before extending patterns.
  • Collaborate effectively within the product trio (PM, Engineering, Design) and with immediate stakeholders to ensure alignment and feasibility.
  • Communicate your design rationale clearly and share work proactively during critiques and reviews.
  • Incorporate feedback thoughtfully to continuously improve the clarity, usability, and polish of your solutions.
  • Help improve documentation, consistency, and best practices within the team.
  • Present your work in a clear, structured, and thoughtful manner.

Who you are:

  • You have roughly 3–5 years of experience working as a Product Designer.

  • You collaborate effectively with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and other Designers. You clearly explain your thinking and actively seek alignment.
  • You actively seek feedback, participate in critiques with genuine engagement, and continuously look for ways to improve your craft and impact.
  • You design solid, practical solutions for well-scoped problems and know when to ask for support on ambiguous or complex challenges.
  • You value diverse perspectives and collaboration as a way to achieve stronger outcomes.
  • You care deeply about clarity, interaction quality, accessibility fundamentals, and visual consistency.
  • Front-end development knowledge is a plus, but not required.

You are curious, detail-oriented, and show critical thinking. You are comfortable surfacing uncertainties and asking the right questions rather than waiting for perfect briefs. You demonstrate a strong commitment to improving the customer experience.
