Product Designer – 4-month Internship/Co-op (Fall 2026)

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

Salary range (but not limited to):

57,000 - 71,200

We are looking for a Product Design Intern for our growing team! 

 

What you’ll do here:  

• Create easy to use, engaging and visually stunning designs for mobile applications.
• Develop clear, functional mockups & prototypes.
• Visualize and present creative design concepts.
• Organize design reviews to discuss different creative options.
• Run ideation workshops with other designers to generate a wide range of ideas.
• Generate UI assets and work with developers to implement and validate specifications.
• Leverage our Design System libraries and design guidelines for multiple brands.
• Advocate for new guidelines and feed libraries in the Design System with the design community.
• Be an advocate for user-centred, data-driven design.
   

What you bring to the table:  

• Degree in UX/UI design or graphic design in progress
• Strong interest in business analysis and documentation processes
• Portfolio demonstrating good knowledge of UX and UI design.
• Proficiency in design and prototype tools (Figma etc.).
• Knowledge of mobile design principles and accessibility.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Attention to detail and passion for creating quality user experiences.
• For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the country
• No Canadian work experience required, but must be eligible to work in Canada.
• Available 35 hours a week from September 8 to December 18, 2026
• Must be actively enrolled in a post-secondary institution for the duration of the internship

Additional assets:

• Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
