Product Design Manager, Purchase

Vilnius, Lithuania Full Time

Brief info about Vinted

Our mission is to make second-hand the first choice, and we're looking for people who want to help us get there. Every day, we work together to help our members buy and sell pre-loved clothing and lifestyle items, giving each piece a second life – or even a third.
The Vinted Group is made up of three business units that support this mission:

Vinted Marketplace is Europe’s leading platform for second-hand fashion and a go-to destination for all kinds of pre-loved items, with a growing range of categories. Our platform connects millions of members across 20+ markets, helping great items find a new life.

Vinted Go enhances the shipping experience with a vast network of over 500,000 pick-up and drop-off points, partnering with more than 60 carriers across Europe, with added services like item verification for peace of mind on high-value pieces.

Vinted Pay is the newest part of the Vinted Group, dedicated to bringing secure, reliable payments to buyers and sellers across Europe. Seamlessly integrated into the Vinted app, it helps keep every transaction safe, efficient, and easy for our members.

Founded in 2008 in Lithuania, Vinted began as a way for friends to find new homes for clothes they no longer needed. In 2019, we became Lithuania's first unicorn! Today, our headquarters remain in Vilnius, and we've grown with offices across Europe, supported by a team of over 2,000 people. Our backers include Accel, EQT Growth, Insight Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Sprints, and TPG.

As our new Product Design Manager within the Purchase domain, you will shape the strategy for the purchase journey—owning the user experience for Offers, Bundles, Inbox and Checkout.

Your mission is to craft experiences that are useful, usable, and enjoyable, with a strong focus on reducing friction and increasing purchase success. You will join the Domain Leadership team, working with Engineering, Product, and Data Science & Analytics to translate strategy into measurable impact. Beyond your domain responsibilities, you will also contribute to the wider Design Leadership team, helping advance our design culture, strengthen craft excellence and elevate design maturity across the organisation.

In this position, you’ll

  • Co-author the domain strategy, positioning design as a driver of both user value and business success.
  • Define the experience vision for the Purchase domain, ensuring it forms an integral part of wider Product Vision and Marketplace Product Strategy.
  • Continuously align priorities and objectives across teams, clearly defining what success looks like to keep focus on the most impactful work.
  • Partner with your cross-functional leadership peers to provide an unified direction and actionable feedback to the teams, helping them solve complex problems while maintaining high velocity and team autonomy.
  • Partner with adjacent domain teams and BUs such as Order, Trust and VGO, engaging them as stakeholders while defining a clear coherent direction for Purchase.
  • Build strong partnerships with other design functions—such as User Research, Content Design, Localisations, and Comms Design—to ensure we deeply understand member problems, ground decisions on evidence and consistently deliver higher-quality, higher-impact solutions.
  • Own craft excellence across the domain, balancing speed of execution with a strong focus on quality.
  • Serve as the design voice of the domain, reporting progress, insights, and strategic updates to Marketplace Leadership.
  • Lead hiring, team design and performance management for the design team while supporting the professional growth and long-term development of designers.

About you

  • You are deeply curious about the evolving AI landscape. You understand and are excited about the evolution of the function under such a change, and can guide your team in this transformation.
  • Strong collaboration skills, particularly partnering with marketing, brand, and communication teams to create cohesive brand narratives.
  • Deep understanding of user research methodologies and crafting intuitive user experiences.
  • Experience using data to inform design decisions, design A/B testing, and iterate on product features.
