Krakow, Poland Full time

Job Description

Zendesk is looking for a Product Design Intern to join our team!

As an intern with Zendesk, you will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and engineers across the globe to create intuitive experiences for our customers. You will contribute to real product work by researching user needs, designing flows and interfaces, prototyping solutions, and testing ideas with users.

We work with a bias towards rapid prototyping and experimentation, and take care to maintain a high level of design craft. The ideal candidate is curious, passionate about solving user problems, proactive, and excited to learn how great products are built. You enjoy turning complex problems into simple, elegant designs. You always look for feedback to iterate on your work, and are an expert listener. You reach out to others, tap into their expertise, and then take the responsibility to create a phenomenal experience for users.

At Zendesk, diversity, equity and inclusion are more than buzzwords, and bigger than the bottom line. It's about our people knowing that they're valued where they work. Employees at Zendesk work hard to build a culture where everyone belongs. Employee Communities play a vital role in bringing us together and ensure we feel supported at work.

During your internship, you will have the opportunity to practice key skills that will make you a successful Product Designer:

  • Design user-centered solutions grounded in research and usability principles

  • Translate complex problems into clear, intuitive user experiences

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teammates around the globe

  • Work in an agile environment with regular feedback and iteration

  • Defend your design decisions and incorporate feedback into the design cycle

  • Present your work to the team & cross-functional partners

  • Work with a team of professionals from around the world and different nationalities

You would be joining a fast-paced, highly collaborative team, working on projects that impact hundreds of thousands of people. This will open up to you opportunities for mentorship with experienced colleagues, and an insight to how great design teams operate.

Most of the collaboration is going to happen over Zoom, but our hybrid way of working is a core part of this experience, to give you a rich onsite experience packed with connection, collaboration, learning, and celebration.
