About the Role:

As Product Design Director, Design Operations, you'll build and run the operational engine behind CrowdStrike's product design organization. You'll lead three teams, each with a manager, across all areas of our ops org, creating the infrastructure, processes, and culture that help our design org move faster and deliver at scale.

About CrowdStrike Product Design:

At CrowdStrike, product design is an equal partner with product management and engineering. We look for leaders who bring craft, intention, and strategic thinking from concept through delivery. This role builds the operational foundation that makes it all possible.

What You'll Do:

AI Ops and Design System

  • Collaborate with design leadership on AI transformation efforts, including piloting tools, building guidelines, and training that help designers work more effectively with AI

  • Oversee the design systems team and manager, driving governance, adoption, and consistent implementation across products

  • Build workflow automation and operational infrastructure that reduces friction and increases velocity

Research Ops, Analytics, and Design Intelligence

  • Oversee the analytics engineering team, setting telemetry strategy to measure feature adoption, user behavior, and experience quality

  • Build measurement frameworks and dashboards that surface insights and communicate design's impact to stakeholders and leadership

  • Improve research ops infrastructure, including panels, repositories, tooling, and workflows that make user insights accessible at scale

Design Enablement

  • Own hiring and onboarding infrastructure, ensuring we're bringing in the right people and filling skills gaps effectively

  • Build, run, and improve our learning and development programs, career growth frameworks, and mentorship pathways

  • Develop scalable processes, documentation, and templates that drive consistency without bureaucracy

  • Evaluate and optimize the design tooling ecosystem, managing vendor relationships and technology investments

  • Partner with leadership on annual budget planning and resource allocation

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years in design operations or a related leadership role

  • 3+ years of people management experience

  • Strong cross-functional partnership and alignment skills

  • Data-informed approach to decision-making and performance measurement

  • Outstanding communication skills across all levels of the org

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • Ability to work from a US office 2+ days per week

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience enabling cross-functional product development at scale

  • Knowledge of the cybersecurity industry

  • Background in organizational development

Right to Work

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location. The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $195,000 - $290,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off.
