Ngā Kōrero mo tēnei tūranga / About the role
We’re looking for a Product Design & Delivery Lead to help shape the future of our Tax Pooling Solutions (TPS) platform. This is a hands-on, design led role that blends hands-on UX/UI design, product shaping, and light delivery leadership to bring clarity and momentum to our digital roadmap.
You’ll lead the design direction for our UI overhaul and ongoing enhancements, reporting to our Product Owner, working directly with the TPS team and external development partners. You’ll turn complex requirements into simple, elegant user experiences - and guide the process from discovery all the way through to build and release.

In this role, you will:
Contribute to or lead the end-to-end design process - research, wireframes, prototypes, UI design
Translate business and user needs into simple, elegant digital experiences
Support our Product Owner with product shaping and design roadmap planning Work closely with developers to ensure designs are feasible, consistent and well-implemented
Support delivery activities such as sprint planning, prioritisation, testing and release coordination
Participate in or run usability testing and drive continuous improvement
Champion good design practices and consistency across the platform
Improve ways of working to improve delivery speed and quality
Collaborate with the team and contribute to a strong, user-centred culture
Ngā pūkenga kei a koe / Skills and experience
3-5+ years in UI/UX or product design, or digital product delivery
A strong portfolio showing end-to-end product design
Experience working with Figma, design systems, and component libraries
Understanding of how design connects into component-based frameworks (e.g. Vue, PrimeVue)
Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments
Confident communication and ability to present to stakeholders
Some leadership or coordination experience
A relevant degree in IT, Design, Engineering or a related field is a bonus
