Product Delivery - Sr Professional II
About your role
You will create and maintain high-quality technical publications including instructional material that support Vision Next product users and developers. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, quality assurance, and support teams to gather technical content and shape a consistent content strategy. Your work ensures accurate, usable documentation that improves developer experience, accelerates adoption, and reduces support effort.
What you'll do
- Analyze complex technical information and translate it into clear client-facing documentation, including digital release notes, user guides, online help, procedures, technical reference manuals, and API developer references.
- Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing documentation; collaborate with product managers, engineers, QA, and support to validate technical accuracy.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information, define learning objectives, and develop content that meets the needs of diverse audiences.
- Design and develop innovative and engaging instructional materials for various learning formats, including eLearning, instructor-led training, and blended learning solutions.
- Utilize instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create effective training programs that enhance employee performance and drive business goals.
- Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of training programs through metrics and feedback, making improvements as needed.
- Facilitate training sessions and provide support to trainers and learners to ensure successful implementation of learning solutions.
- Develop and maintain API documentation and developer examples that enable a high-quality developer experience for Vision Next products.
- Use and maintain content in authoring and publication tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Office 365, and Adobe Acrobat; AI Tools; manage source content in version control systems.
- Evaluate current content, recommend structure and workflow improvements, and apply DITA/XML single-source principles to streamline publishing.
- Work within Agile delivery teams to prioritize documentation tasks and meet release schedules while meeting quality standards.

Experience you'll need to have:
- 4-6 years of experience as a Technical Writer, Information Developer, or similar role producing product documentation and API references for software products.
- Demonstrated proficiency with multiple authoring systems and publication tools, including MadCap Flare (11+), Adobe FrameMaker (11+), Microsoft Office 365, and Adobe Acrobat (11+); familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS), JIRA, and Confluence and Github.
- Experience authoring in DITA/XML and producing structured content for single-source publishing.
- Experience with HTML (HyperText Markup Language) and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), and the ability to manipulate graphics and produce developer-facing code examples.
- Experience documenting application programming interfaces (APIs) and producing developer reference materials, examples, and usage guidance.
- Knowledge of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
- Proficiency in eLearning development tools such as Articulate, Camptasia Captivate, or similar.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Experience in creating assessments, surveys, and other evaluation tools to measure learning outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
Experience that would be great to have
- Experience working with digital content publishing and lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience integrating documentation work into sprint planning and delivery.
