The Position

Project Manager: Product Delivery (Roche Solutions)

Location: Ireland & Northern Region (Field-based)

The Mission: To orchestrate the delivery of world-class diagnostic solutions that empower laboratories and improve patient lives across Ireland.

Are you a strategic leader with a background in structured project delivery? Do you thrive on transforming complex technical requirements into seamless, operational healthcare solutions?

The Opportunity

As a Project Manager for Roche Solutions, you will be the bridge between commercial strategy and technical reality. You will drive medium to high-complexity projects, ensuring an enhanced customer experience from initial discovery through to the final transition to "live" status.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Governance: Deliver projects in full alignment with the Roche Design and Implementation Framework (RDIF). You will utilize PRINCE2 principles to manage costs, aggressive timelines, and multidisciplinary resources.

  • Commercial Strategy & Partnering: Collaborate with Commercial Teams and Consultants during the "Discover & Develop" phase. You ensure that proposed solutions are not only innovative but technically viable and accurately costed.

  • Technical Implementation: Lead the coordination of technical milestones. From overseeing floor plan sign-offs to producing detailed Gantt charts and managing project phasing, you ensure precision at every step.

  • Site Leadership: Act as the face of Roche on-site. You will lead customer meetings across Ireland to mobilize resources for our most complex system tracks, such as the CCM (cobas Connection Modules) and cobas 8100.

  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary escalation point for implementations. You will maintain robust communication plans to keep both internal leadership and external customers informed and aligned.

  • Risk & Quality Assurance: Proactively identify risks and dependencies. You will lead "lessons learned" reviews to ensure that every project at Roche is better than the last.

Who You Are

You are a disciplined professional who understands that in the world of diagnostics, precision in planning is as important as precision in testing.

Your Experience & Qualifications:

  • Education: Educated to degree standard (or equivalent experience) with PRINCE2 Practitioner status strongly preferred.

  • Methodology: A proven expert in Waterfall project management, capable of managing the rigid dependencies of laboratory installations.

  • Industry Background: A track record of managing medium to high-complexity projects, ideally within a laboratory, clinical, or diagnostic environment.

  • Technical Savvy: Comfortable leading spatial planning workshops, interpreting floor plans, and contributing to technical tender responses.

  • Must have proven project management experience with a focus on product delivery.

  • Regional Expertise: Ability to navigate the specific multi-stakeholder landscape of the Irish healthcare system.

  • Mobility: As this is a field-based role, you must have the ability to travel across Ireland for site visits and customer engagement as required.
