Product Data Analyst

Job Summary

The Product Data Analyst plays an important role in enabling accurate, scalable, and actionable product data that supports business growth, customer experience, and operational efficiency. This role partners closely with the product data team and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure product data is governed, high-quality, and maintained across systems and key business tools.

Key Responsibilities

Product Data Setup & Maintenance

• Support the intake, prioritization, and execution of product data requests (new products, updates, changes) across relevant systems and tools.

• Ensure accurate and timely setup and maintenance of product data to support product launches and ongoing operations.

• Partner with upstream teams to validate requirements and resolve data issues impacting product launches or updates.

• Manage and maintain data in key sales and marketing tools (e.g., price books/price lists) to ensure high content accuracy and consistency across multiple tools.

Data Governance & Quality

• Apply and follow product data governance standards and definitions.

• Perform routine data validation and quality checks; identify issues and support root-cause analysis with partners to drive sustainable fixes.

• Help document data standards, business rules, and process steps to support consistency and clarity across teams.

Systems & Process Support

• Support system implementations, enhancements, and process improvements related to product data management.

• Identify opportunities to streamline and standardize product data setup and maintenance to improve efficiency and reduce rework.

• Collaborate with technical and platform partners to support product data integration needs and operational readiness.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Serve as a liaison between product management, pricing, marketing, sales, supply chain, and distribution channels to support product and marketing needs.

• Communicate information in clear and concise written and verbal formats.

• Support marketing through documentation of information in image logs to ensure accurate asset documentation.

• Coordinate and assist with special projects as needed to achieve business objectives.

• Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Experience in data analysis, data management, product operations, or a related role in a cross-functional environment.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills; ability to ensure accuracy through thorough review and analysis.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse partners.

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); comfort learning new systems and tools.

Preferred

• Experience working with product data in enterprise systems (e.g., PIM, ERP, or similar).

• Experience supporting pricing tools and content (e.g., catalogs/price lists/price books) and ensuring consistency across tools.

• Familiarity with data governance and data quality practices (definitions, standards, validation, issue resolution workflows).
