The Product Control Associate contributes to ensuring the financial integrity of the trading and investment activities across Atlas business lines. This includes preparing accurate P&L reporting, balance sheet substantiation, and partnering with Front Office, Risk, Operations, and other Finance teams to support business strategy while maintaining robust financial controls.

Primary Responsibilities

P&L Reporting and Analysis

  • Execute daily controls contributing to financial reporting.
  • Analyze P&L drivers, reconcile variances, and explain performance to management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate P&L attribution by product, desk, and trader.

Balance Sheet and Valuation Control

  • Ensure accurate reporting of balance sheet positions.
  • Assist with reporting key balance sheet metrics including AUM reporting, funding costs, and capital usage.

Business Partnering

  • Collaborate across teams on new product initiatives and control implications.
  • Liaise with auditors, third-party service providers, and senior finance leadership as required.

Controls and Governance

  • Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.
  • Remain in compliance with internal policies and external regulatory standards.

Team Collaboration

  • Demonstrate engagement with Atlas initiatives.
  • Support colleagues to ensure accuracy and consistency in deliverables.
  • Maintain an adaptive mindset, demonstrating flexibility and innovation.

Qualification and Experience 

  • Accounting/Finance bachelor’s degree;
  • 4–8 years of Product Control, Financial Control, or related finance experience.
  • Understanding of front-to-back trade flow and P&L attribution methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • High integrity, ownership mindset, and a focus on continuous improvement.

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed here.
