About the role:

As Product Compliance Specialist your main responsibility will be to support the global product development and product management teams to fulfill relevant regulatory and legal requirements throughout lifecycle of the products and secure market access. You will interact daily with internal stakeholders such as Engineers, Project Managers, Product Managers, Sourcing Managers and Quality teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and interpret relevant regulations, directives, and standards affecting Munters’ products (e.g., REACH, RoHS, POP, Machinery Directive, Low Voltage Directive, Pressure Equipment Directive, Radio Directive, CE, FCC, UL, etc.).
  • Evaluate impact and recommend actions for information and decision-making purposes.
  • Monitor changes within current and upcoming regulations and how they will affect Munters’ product requirements.
  • Support with technical compliance proficiency in Mechanical & Electrical Safety and/or Chemicals Compliance area and/or connectivity (wi-fi, radio)
  • Provide guidance in product development projects and in continuous product improvement projects within Business Area Data Center Technologies or AirTech
  • Support product testing and certification processes with external laboratories and 3rd parties
  • Exchange knowledge with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Legal, and Supply Chain) from other Munters Business Areas (Data Center Technologies, AirTech and FoodTech)
  • Create, launch and validate that the internal compliance processes are followed within Munters business area Data Center Technologies, AirTech
  • Deliver product compliance training to stakeholders in the organization
  • Conduct internal audits and risk assessments related to product compliance
  • Participate in relevant external industry groups and technical committees representing Munters

Background & Qualifications:

  • University degree within electrical- or mechanical engineering, chemistry or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in working with product safety and/or chemicals in products and/or compliance related activities in an international industrial company
  • Experience with conformity assessments for EU and national regulations (e.g., CE marking); global experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with sustainability and ESG-related product requirements is a bonus
  • Fluency in English (oral & written)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office and compliance management tools
