The Product Specialist will be responsible for managing various workstreams within the Client Services team, including directing new client KYC onboarding, and managing relationships with internal and external partners to ensure seamless and efficient product delivery. A key part of the role is to assist in process development for future state solutions and automation to provide a best-in-class client experience. The role will have a focus on KYC and the required client interactions, internal communication, and efficient skillful processing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work under the guidance of senior client onboarding specialists to facilitate client onboarding, KYC, Sanction reviews, Screenings, FinCEN and other required information collection and review prior to transaction implementation.
Handle day-to-day internal and client calls on KYC and new deal onboarding implementation sets, and direct advanced queries when needed to appropriate product partners.
Coordinate the collection of required due diligence information to complete new client entity KYC and related screenings with client contacts directly.
Review and ensure complete onboarding information is delivered to KYC Operations for Core KYC and Appendix creation, and ensure timely completion through ongoing communication.
Communicate with Sales and TRM all KYC implementation progress or issues, and deliver in a timely fashion to ensure smooth client transaction closes.
Assist product partners by entering necessary client/transaction information into reporting systems and handling updates to ensure consistently accurate implementations.
Understand and be able to explain core products and services as necessary to respond to client inquiries and expedite solutions.
Assist in the creation and upkeep of client databases, and represent business on system automation and transitions.
Design reports for internal use on activity, trends and performance.
PROJECTS AND DELIVERABLES:
Assist in implementation projects to increase efficiencies and meet modernization/digitization goals.
Drive innovation by working with internal/external partners as needed to develop future state implementation processes.
Liaise with Sales and Transaction Management team to execute delivery of service across Agency and Trust transactions.
Build and develop relationships across internal and external partner teams.
Collaborate with and support in-business risk, and second line teams as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 4 years of experience in the financial industry, in a position with a client facing team. Basic knowledge of Agency & Trust products.
Strong interpersonal skills related to client interaction, and internal team interactions
Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and general computer skills
Experienced with KYC management systems/policies
Requires being detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent work ethic, self-motivated
Strong written and verbal communication skills
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s / University Degree required.
