Product Business Analyst – dCommerce Analytics

Role Purpose:
To accelerate Unilever’s transformation into a data-intelligent organization, the Product Business Analyst will act as a bridge between technical analytics capabilities and business stakeholders. This role will focus on driving digital commerce analytics initiatives within Indonesia and across SEA markets, enabling insight-led decision making and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Expected Work

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Needs Assessment:
  • Engage with market and business unit stakeholders to gather requirements and understand key business objectives.


Analytics Deployment:

  • Lead the deployment of global and regional dCommerce analytics tools within local market contexts.


Portfolio Management Leadership:

  • Design and implement methodologies for portfolio and eNRM analytics to drive local growth.


Insight Generation & Innovation:

  • Translate complex datasets into actionable insights and lead local innovation in analytics and data science applications.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with product owners, data scientists, platform teams, and business units to ensure seamless integration and scalability of solutions.


Agile Project Execution:

  • Manage agile sprints, prioritize deliverables, and ensure continuous improvement through feedback and iteration cycles.


Key accountabilities:

  • Serve as the trusted data and analytics consultant for digital commerce stakeholders
  • Deliver core analytics product portfolio as part of the SEA dCommerce analytics hub
  • Perform business requirements gathering and translation into analytics requirements
  • Work seamless with other teams e.g. Business, Data Science, Data Expertise and Product Owners


Experience and qualifications required:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in analytics, data science, or eCommerce insights
  • Strong expertise in business analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Python, Azure Databricks, AWS Cloud).
  • Proven ability to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions.
  • Experience in working with digital commerce datasets such as churn, loyalty, shopper behavior, or UI/UX analytics.
  • Educational background in Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Business, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based analytics environments (Azure preferred).
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
