Product and Technology Communications Manager

In this role, you will transform complex technology topics into clear, compelling stories that resonate across audiences. You’ll shape communication strategies, partner across functions, and support high‑impact launches and milestones. This is a hands‑on, high‑visibility role where your ability to simplify, align, and inspire will make a meaningful difference.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute communication strategies for business units
  • Translate technical concepts into accessible stories for internal and external audiences
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to align messaging
  • Support media, analyst, and influencer engagement with messaging, Q&As, and execution coordination
  • Manage timelines, reviews, and processes to ensure consistent, high-quality output

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5–8 years in communications, PR, or corporate storytelling within tech or innovation-driven fields
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with ability to simplify complex topics
  • Strong collaboration, stakeholder management, and project management skills
  • Comfortable in fast-paced environments and under tight deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with product launches, GTM cycles, or technology roadmaps
  • Familiarity with media intelligence tools such as Meltwater or Talkwalker
  • Experience using AI tools like Copilot 365 to enhance content development
  • Proven ability to identify risks early and propose practical solutions

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$107,000.00 - $241,000.00 a year

Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
