JOB SUMMARY(Job Brief)
The Product Analyst – Supports KeyBank’s Commercial Payments Strategy by delivering actionable insights and operational improvements across the commercial card portfolio and supplier enablement lifecycle.
Commercial Bank, inclusive of Payments, is comprised of commercial client relationship teams, onboarding and servicing, Institutional Bank payments business development and payments products and solutions (treasury management, commercial card, merchant services, and foreign exchange).
Reporting to the Lead Product Manager, this role focuses on analyzing portfolio spend and utilization, monitoring adoption and performance metrics, and leveraging the vendor database to identify enablement opportunities, improve data quality, and accelerate supplier onboarding and activation.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Portfolio & Product Analysis
- Analyze commercial card performance (spend, utilization, activity, interchange, and segment trends).
- Deliver dashboards, reporting, and ad hoc analyses to inform product, sales, and operations decisions.
- Provide data-backed insights to support roadmap prioritization, new initiatives, and post-launch measurement.
Supplier Enablement Support
- Support end-to-end supplier enablement to increase electronic payment acceptance and cardable spend.
- Track funnel metrics to identify bottlenecks and drive process improvements.
- Partner with enablement, sales, and operations to refine playbooks and improve outcomes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with product, operations, risk, and technology teams to define metrics, validate data, and align on targets.
- Present clear, decision-ready insights to leadership and stakeholders.
Data, Reporting & Governance
- Leverage and maintain vendor data for segmentation, prioritization, and enablement tracking.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and documentation for metrics, dashboards, and processes.
- Own recurring leadership reporting and support continuous operational improvement.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor's Degree Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Analytics or related field (required)
- Master's Degree Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (preferred)
Work Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Financial Services development program or relevant internship experience
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in product analytics, business analysis, commercial payments, or financial services (commercial card experience preferred).
- Experience working with data and databases, with ability to manage data quality
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret qualitative, operational, and financial data and build repeatable reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization/reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Clear, concise, and effective communicator with experience managing and influencing stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills; able to work cross‑functionally with diverse teams and personality types.
- Proven ability to create and deliver presentations and produce detailed documentation using data‑driven insights.
- Ability to quickly understand complex concepts and clearly articulate them to broad, non‑technical audiences.
- High degree of adaptability and intellectual curiosity; comfortable operating in ambiguous environments.
- Demonstrated ability to identify process inefficiencies and recommend solutions/enhancements
- Change‑oriented mindset with the ability to influence others and foster collaboration and teamwork.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with a track record of delivering multiple concurrent projects successfully.
Physical Demands
- General Office - Prolonged sitting, ability to communicate face to face in person or on the phone with teammates and clients, frequent use of PC/laptop, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks, computer bags up to 10 lbs.
Travel Requirements

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $69,000.00 - $105,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
