NCR Atleos is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Product Analyst II. This position is responsible for understanding the competitive landscape for both retailers and financial institutions across North America, cardholder payment trends and product differentiators to develop a compelling solution narrative for NCR Atleos around the go-to-market strategy for financial kiosks in retail locations. 
 

As a Product Analyst, the qualified candidate will primarily focus on how we can bring to market new transaction types at our network of ATMs, including managing the solution/product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with internal/external business partners to deliver winning products. The role will also involve working with the Commercial, Marketing, and Support teams to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Analyst will execute with excellence, working collaboratively across departments to effectively build awareness of our ATM Solutions, create demand and develop the industry-leading sales support materials needed by the sales teams to convey the key selling proposition and positioning.

Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility

Business Strategy:

  • Assist in developing strategic projects by collaborating with business leaders to define work products, executing research, and presenting findings and recommendations

  • Assist in defining, developing and implementing product strategies and roadmaps consistent with company vision

  • Bring new transaction types to market by analyzing feedback from customers, stakeholders, and other teams to share requirements, features and end products

Business Operations:

  • Work with business leaders and stakeholders to identify and analyze key opportunities, markets and solution opportunities in alignment with corporate and business strategy

  • Assist in determining product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing operational and technical costs; anticipating/projecting growth; costing special and customized deals

  • Monitor pricing to ensure product is meeting revenue and profitability goals and delivering revenue forecasts

  • Provide product/subject matter expertise during the sales process

Focused on achieving NCR Atleos’ objectives of growth, profitability, and diversification, the Product Analyst will collaborate with the team in performing the following:

  • Develop and direct solution from ideation to launch within planned timeframes

  • Evaluate and research current industry trends, competitive landscape, and internal product-development efforts to provide the organization with insight to drive decision-making

  • Identify risks and opportunities and ensure that they are quantified and communicated in a timely and actionable manner

  • Develop pricing and sales models for solutions in collaboration with the Finance team

  • Drive solutions throughout the Solution Lifecycle Management (SLM) process

  • Build business cases, define value, execute thorough due diligence, participating in negotiations, preparing contracts

  • Expand solution market share by working with sales team to develop sales strategies

  • Develop regular cadenced trackers for product management purposes

  • Perform product demos to customers and prospects

  • Produce business and product requirements documents, solutions guide, sales tools and collateral

  • Other duties may be assigned

Success criteria and performance measures:

  • Understand the consumer demand and addressable market for each transaction

  • Leverage industry understanding and marketplace dynamics to launch new solutions and transaction types from concept to full scale production

  • Develop pricing models, market/competitive intelligence and market pricing knowledge

  • Drive product development efforts in support of solution rollout across North America and beyond

  • Track enablement / rollout and report internally on KPIs

Basic Qualifications

  • Degree(s) in the field of Mathematics, Economics, Business, Finance, Engineering, Marketing and/ or Technology from an accredited institution

  • 2+ years of experience in any of the following areas: product requirements analysis, pricing, planning, competitive analysis, sales, financial analysis and strategy

  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products

  • Excellent communication/presentation skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Very strong proficiency in Excel including Pivot Tables and V-Lookups

  • Examples of experience/capability and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past

  • Results-driven mindset and approach

  • Demonstrated customer focus

  • Problem-solving aptitude and creative thinking skills

  • Leadership/people management skills including ability to gain the confidence and commitment of staff; leads by example

  • Resourceful

  • Quick learner
