The Information Technology team at our Company's R&D division is looking for Product Analyst to support the Patient Safety and Quality & Compliance Product Line. The individual will be responsible to deliver high quality IT solutions/services, leveraging broad IT knowledge to transform business needs into IT requirements and deliver them with the larger IT team and vendors. Understanding of business strategy, goals, challenges/pain points, IT architecture, data platform, standard applications, and external environment changes is expected.
What will you do?
- Build deep knowledge of Patient Safety systems and processes, especially those involving Veeva Vaults.
- Develop strong relationships within the technical expert community.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to uncover and communicate user needs and support product discovery and analysis.
- Write clear and actionable user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Lead planning, design, and support testing activities, with emphasis on edge case scenarios.
- Provide close business analysis support to the Product Manager to ensure valuable and viable product outcomes.
- Compile training and communication materials for end users.
- Prioritize competing business demands effectively.
- Understand technology standards and architecture guidelines and contribute to IT development by reviewing proposed technical solutions.
- Prepare and review technical documentation for owned solutions.
- Act as both a team player and a proactive individual contributor.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required
- B.A./B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
- 3 to 5 years IT business analyst and/or technical analyst experience
- Proven experience in IT, including software development lifecycle and business process design
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to simplify complex problems and identify pain points
- Ability to adapt quickly to evolving technologies and apply them to business needs
- Strong business acumen and collaborative mindset
- Experience managing relationships across cultures, geographies, and organizational levels
- Very good communication skills, ability to work in international and intercultural teams
- Self-driven personality with a strong focus on understanding and measuring business value
- Experience designing solutions that enable end users to effectively use data and increase productivity
Nice to have
- 2 to 3 years in pharmaceutical industry experience
- Knowledge and experience with Veeva Vault, especially in the context of Patient Safety or Pharmacovigilance
- Knowledge and experience working with digital Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, including agile methodologies and modern product delivery practices
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in the pharmaceutical industry
- Deliver effective and efficient product release rollouts with GxP
- Provide consultative support on IT deviations and CAPA
