The Role:
Blackstone is seeking a Senior Vice President of Studio Production to build, lead, and operate high-impact studio content, overseeing all stages of production and driving the development of new studio programming as the firm’s capabilities expand. This senior role combines technical expertise with creative vision, directing both single-camera and multi-camera productions and preparing senior executives for on-camera success. The SVP will partner across the firm to expand production capabilities, optimize workflows, and deliver broadcast-level video that meets the highest standards of quality, compliance, and impact.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and launch of a new show, establishing the production approach, workflow, and cadence.
Serve as the producer responsible for shaping the show’s creative direction, structure, and visual identity as it evolves.
Define and manage the staffing, technical requirements, and operational processes needed to stand up and sustain a consistent weekly production.
Serve as senior producer for high-profile video productions, including executive addresses for external events, fund updates, webinars, and corporate presentations.
Direct productions ranging from single-camera shoots to complex multi-camera setups, ensuring high standards in visual presentation, sound quality, and overall production value.
Lead pre-production planning, defining technical requirements, set and furniture design, scripts, and creative assets for studio display systems.
Collaborate with Project Managers to align production requirements with timelines, resources, and overall project objectives.
Partner with the Technical Director to deliver broadcast-level productions across both live and pre-recorded formats.
Coach and prepare senior executives and talent for on-camera performance, ensuring confidence and professionalism.
Oversee the versioning of fund update content to meet the needs of different global audiences.
Implement legal and compliance notes or disclaimers into presentation recordings.
Qualifications:
10 + years of experience in studio and video production, including significant leadership in broadcast, corporate, or newsroom-style studio environments.
Extensive experience in broadcast or live studio settings managing time-sensitive, on-air production demands.
Proven expertise directing and overseeing both single-camera and multi-camera productions.
Experience developing or launching new video formats, programs, or recurring studio content.
Strong executive presence and client-facing skills in order to guide and educate stakeholders on studio capabilities and production best practices.
Experience overseeing post-production workflows, including editing, color grading, and compliance integration.
Deep proficiency in professional video equipment, studio lighting design, audio systems, and control-room workflows.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple high-profile projects under tight deadlines.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred.

Expected annual base salary range:
$170,000 - $250,000Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s sole discretion.
