We're seeking an experienced Producer who will be relied upon to collaborate with creative leads and studio directors to develop, maintain, and execute project planning for your teams. You are the strategic thinker for your teams - get out front and lead. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of strong project management and communication skills, and a passion for making great games. Help us create and launch our next title.

What you will do:

  • Coordinate the development of game features and content across several cross-discipline and/or support teams (such as audio, UI, and core tech) through established phases of development.

  • Oversee the overall development roadmap and backlogs for your features/teams, taking responsibility for their day-to-day operations, utilizing project management tools (such as Jira) to ensure deliverables are on time and meet the expected requirements.

  • Be responsible for the scope and capacity of your teams and identify outsourcing opportunities in collaboration with the feature leads, discipline leads and Lead Producer.

  • Drive the discussion on breaking down sprint goals for your teams. Operate as their Sprint Planning Facilitator and check-in/follow-up to ensure all tasks are entered, properly estimated and tracked/updated.

  • Use project management tools to develop roadmaps, collect data, and identify when individuals are over capacity for the sprint.

  • Ensure sprint deliverables stay on track.

  • Protect the team during the sprint - facilitate discussions regarding scope creep and prioritizing task trade-offs.

  • Surface discipline-specific support needs (design, art, engineering, QA) for feature teams, and align with Lead Producer on staffing, co-dev, and priorities.

  • Run standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and communication between teams and leadership.

  • Facilitate and/or participate in bug triage for your teams, in collaboration with engineering and QA.

  • Identify impediments, risks and blockers early, create mitigation plans, and communicate them to stakeholders.

  • Ensure your features and content are reviewed and delivered on time and ensure all requirements are met.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate across disciplines and with stakeholders.

  • Proficiency with Jira, workflows, backlog management, and reporting.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Confluence (Wiki) and other project tracking and bug database software.

  • Proficient with the use of agile and traditional waterfall production management techniques, and an understanding of when to use different approaches.

  • Proactively seek improvements, whether through process refinement, risk management, or personal growth.

  • Significant industry experience with a proven track record of shipping titles in a production role for a large team of cross-discipline developers.
