Job Description:

The Producer is responsible for advancing the mission and values of the LSU Athletics Department by delivering the LSU Tigers brand through compelling, informative, and entertaining broadcast and in-venue productions. This position contributes to the execution and continued growth of SEC Network+, ESPN digital/linear broadcasts, and in-venue video board shows

45% Serve as a producer, director, or key contributor for both network broadcasts and in-venue game production for assigned LSU events. Support and execute digital broadcasts on SECN+ and other ESPN platforms, while contributing to in-venue video board shows. Coordinate the content and execution of live productions, ensuring a high-quality final product. Collaborate with sports information staff, on-air talent, and internal teams to ensure all elements of the broadcast and in-venue experience are well-prepared. Assist with pre-production planning, research, coordination of interviews, and overall show structure.

30% Support the management of production graphics and workflows, including creation of graphics elements, building rundowns, and integration of video and statistical content into live broadcasts and in-venue shows. Work alongside ESPN personnel to support linear productions and ensure compliance with all network standards, guidelines, and workflows. Assist with technical execution and step into various production roles as needed during live events.

20% Provide leadership and support to student workers and freExperience with live event production and familiarity with ESPN or similar network workflows preferred; elance crew during productions. Assist in training and development across production roles, helping to improve consistency and execution. Take ownership of assigned areas on gameday and contribute to efficient crew operations.

5% Advances and supports LSU and Athletics Department initiatives through personal participation in educational and developmental opportunities, as well as participation in the creation of a respectful culture consistent with the values of LSU and its Athletics Department; Works collaboratively with the Office of Communications and University Relations and adheres to the standards set therein; Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with two years experience in a live sports or broadcast production environment; Working knowledge of live production environments and broadcast workflows; Must demonstrate the ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple responsibilities, and contribute in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, staff, freelance crew, and external partners are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with live event production and familiarity with ESPN or similar network workflows; Experience with Ross XPression, replay systems, and control room equipment.
