Procurement Specialist

Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially driven Procurement Specialist to support our global procurement operations. This role will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, optimising purchasing processes, and ensuring cost- effective procurement of goods and services—particularly across technology, SaaS tools, and corporate services.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle including requisition, vendor selection, negotiation, contracting, and purchase order issuance
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (Finance, IT, Legal, HR) to understand procurement needs and align sourcing strategies
  • Evaluate and onboard global vendors; maintain vendor database and performance metrics
  • Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service level agreements to achieve cost savings and risk mitigation
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, internal controls, and audit requirements
  • Track and manage renewals for SaaS subscriptions and software licenses
  • Drive process improvements and automation in procurement workflows
  • Support budgeting and forecasting by providing procurement insights and spend analysis
  • Collaborate with Finance for invoice validation and timely payments

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 5–8 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a global SaaS or technology environment
  • Strong experience in sourcing SaaS tools, IT services, and professional services
  • Good understanding of contract negotiation and vendor management
  • Experience working with procurement tools (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, or similar platforms)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment across time zones

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to global procurement practices and multi-currency environments
  • Experience supporting US business operations
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks and audit processes
