About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Manager to join our global procurement team and lead sourcing initiatives across key technology categories including software, SaaS, cloud services, hardware, IT infrastructure, and emerging technology solutions.

Based in Karachi, this role will partner closely with engineering, IT, finance and legal teams to drive strategic sourcing initiatives, optimize vendor management  and deliver cost efficiencies across technology spend. The role will also contribute to procurement digitalization and automation initiatives while ensuring compliance and agility across multiple markets.

This position requires strong commercial acumen, experience negotiating complex technology agreements and the ability to operate in a fast-paced global environment.

What you'll do
  • Strategic Sourcing & Category Management: 
    • Develop and execute sourcing strategies across technology categories including software, SaaS, cloud services and IT infrastructure.
    • Lead competitive sourcing processes (RFPs, RFQs, negotiations) to deliver cost savings and commercial value.
    • Conduct spend analysis, benchmarking  and market intelligence to identify sourcing opportunities and optimize supplier selection.
    • Translate business requirements into effective sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Technology Procurement
    • Build category strategies and drive cost optimisation and enhance procurement maturity across software licensing, SaaS platforms, cloud services and technology infrastructure.
  • Vendor Management & Negotiation
    • Source, evaluate and negotiate with global and regional technology vendors to ensure competitive pricing and strong service delivery.
    • Lead complex commercial negotiations including enterprise agreements, SaaS subscriptions, cloud contracts and renewal strategies.
    • Establish and manage supplier performance frameworks including KPIs, SLAs and quarterly business reviews.
  • Contract Lifecycle & Risk Management
    • Manage contract lifecycle including negotiation, renewals, amendments to ensure optimal pricing and licensing structures 
    • Ensure vendors comply with contractual obligations and service level agreements.
    • Partner with legal, security and compliance teams to mitigate contractual, security  and data privacy risks.
  • Cost Optimization & Value Creation
    • Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities across technology categories.
    • Improve Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) through contract optimization, vendor consolidation and commercial negotiations.
  • Procurement Systems & Process Improvement
    • Leverage procurement platforms and automation tools to streamline sourcing processes.
    • Support procurement digitalization initiatives including analytics, automation, and AI-enabled procurement tools.
    • Drive continuous improvement and implement best practices to enhance procurement efficiency and impact.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Collaborate closely with IT, engineering, finance, legal and business teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.

What you'll need

  • 6+ years  of experience in technology procurement, strategic sourcing or vendor management.
  • Proven experience negotiating software, SaaS, cloud and IT infrastructure contracts.
  • Experience using procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle or similar sourcing tools.
  • Experience managing technology vendor relationships and supplier performance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with software licensing models, cybersecurity and compliance frameworks is a plus.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional and global environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills in English
