Procurement Lead

  • KONE is looking for an experienced Procurement Lead to drive the execution of sourcing strategies, supplier management, and procurement excellence across local materials, customer projects, and indirect spend.
  • The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of progressive experience in procurement or sourcing, with proven expertise in the construction industry, including Mechanical, Electrical (MEP) scopes. You will play a key role in developing and implementing sourcing strategies that deliver cost efficiency, quality, and operational excellence.
  • The Procurement Lead will act as a strong business partner to both Projects execution team, ensuring alignment between commercial, operational, and technical objectives. This role demands a balance of strategic insight and hands-on execution, with a focus on collaboration, value creation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end procurement activities across projects and indirect categories, ensuring compliance with company policies and business objectives.
  • Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships to secure competitive advantages in cost, quality, delivery, and innovation.
  • Partner closely with project, engineering, and service teams to align sourcing strategies with operational needs and project timelines.
  • Negotiate complex contracts and framework agreements, ensuring optimal commercial and legal terms.
  • Drive cost optimization, risk mitigation, and sustainable sourcing initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Contribute to the development of procurement policies, tools, and processes that enhance efficiency and transparency.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business,
  • 10+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
  • Strong background in construction procurement and MEP scope management.
  • Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract management, and sourcing.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail.
  • Proactive, customer-focused mindset with a passion for collaboration and continuous improvement.
