🚨 We're Hiring: Procurement Excellence Lead

📍 Location: Hyderabad India – Hybrid

🕒 Full-Time | Permanent Position

What you need to be successful

We’re looking for a strategic and inquisitive Procurement Excellence lead based out of our Hyderabad office  to join our procurement team and elevate how we assess, manage, and mitigate supplier risks across our global operations. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in risk management tools (e.g., Coupa or similar), a strong background in supplier risk frameworks, and a collaborative mindset to drive change in a matrixed organization.

You’ll lead a team and work cross-functionally with Procurement, Legal, Compliance, IT and Category Management team to ensure our supplier base is resilient, responsible, and aligned with our business values.

  • Collaborate with Category team to the development and execution of supplier risk assessment and mitigation strategies across categories and geographies.
  • Own and optimize the use of risk management platforms (e.g., Coupa Risk Aware, EcoVadis, or similar).
  • Integrate supplier risk insights into broader Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks, especially within manufacturing environments with focus on Sole source and Hyperinflation management
  • Collaborate with category leaders to embed risk intelligence into decision-making.
  • Monitor geopolitical, financial, ESG, and compliance risks across the supply base and escalate critical exposures.
  • Support development and update of supplier risk dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to align risk priorities with business objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in supplier onboarding, due diligence, and audit processes.
  • Manage and mentor a team of specialists across multiple Procurement Excellence pillars
  • Support other Procurement Excellence pillars on specific projects (Procurement sustainability, Procurement Digitalization and analytics, Procurement Governance)
  • Champion a culture of transparency, accountability, and proactive risk management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 7–10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or risk management.
  • 3+ years of people leadership required, with a track record of developing talent.
  • Proven expertise in supplier risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with risk management tools (e.g., Coupa, Aravo, Riskmethods, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills—able to influence across functions and levels.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization with global teams and complex reporting lines.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a bonus.
