Job SummaryThe Procurement Analyst is an individual contributor role reporting to a category or support function manager within Key's procurement department. This role supports both a manager and a small group of Strategists by reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing relevant data, assisting in the execution of procurement strategies, and preparing findings in a clear and concise format. The role requires analytical skills, effective time management, the ability to work independently, and a collaborative mindset.
Essential Functions- Assist in gathering and organizing data (e.g., spend, pricing, volume) to support procurement analysis.
- Help summarize findings and contribute to reports and presentations in a clear, easy-to-understand format.
- Create and update basic documents and presentations using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Maintain simple tracking tools and assist in keeping data repositories current.
- Support Category Managers and Strategists with tasks related to procurement strategies and initiatives.
- Help coordinate procurement activities such as RFPs, contract reviews, and purchase order tracking.
- Contribute to project planning by managing task lists and helping track deadlines.
- Assist in monitoring vendor performance by collecting and reporting on key metrics.
- Learn about client/LOB strategies and help ensure procurement activities align with business goals.
- Build positive working relationships with team members and internal partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Legal, Solutions, Risk) by supporting shared tasks and communications.
- Participate in team projects and contribute to broader business initiatives as needed.

- Complies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key’s clients and Key.
Education- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience in lieu of a formal degree (preferred)
Work Experience- Relevant experience (including internships, school programs, or co-ops) (preferred)
Licenses and Certifications- procurement or finance-related certifications (preferred)
Skills- Ability to analyze, summarize, and interpret complex data to draw logical conclusions.
- Strong written and verbal skills for presenting data and findings clearly.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with procurement systems is a plus.
- Capable of creating and managing basic project plans and prioritizing tasks.
- Able to resolve basic issues independently and escalate when needed.
- Delivers timely, efficient support aligned with client needs and priorities.
- Builds effective relationships and works well with cross-functional teams.
- Quickly learns new concepts and works independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Demands- General Office - Prolonged sitting, ability to communicate face to face in person or on the phone with teammates and clients, frequent use of PC/laptop, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks, computer bags up to 10 lbs.
Travel- Occasional travel to include overnight stay.
Work Location CategoryCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $52,000.00 - $80,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
